Pretty Little Liars: Blind Dates
"Nosey Bitches Die!"
A more intense and dark episode of Pretty Little Liars indeed! Blind Dates surprisingly didn't feature Jenna, (the title seemed to lead that way). Everything dark in suspense, emotion, and fear. Last year's problems seem simple compared to this season.
Aria is happy that her family life is getting back to normal with her mother being back in the house. Her brother Michael is not so pleased and his attitude worries her. She soon finds out that he has not been playing basketball after school as he has been claiming. She speaks with his friends and has an encounter with Jason where he informs her that he always liked her interesting personality (and hair). Once Aria confronts Mike we see a darker side to him. Mike doesn't appreciate what he sees as insincere behavior by his family trying to be perfect. He threatens to spill about her hanging with her friends if she rats on him. Aria is forced to cover for her brother and remain in the dark about what he's up to.
Emily is living a lie that keeps getting worse. "A" once again taunts her when Emily recieves Danby University gifts welcoming her to the "A"-Team. As her mother is spreading the "good" news, Emily confesses to Samara (whom she is currently dating). After bringing Samara home she almost confesses to her mother but Samara swoops in and suggest that they don't lock in on Danby just yet. Emily is relieved that Samara has bought her more time and the two plan their next date.
Hanna's mother realizes she is the only one not to get a solo session with their therapist and pushes Hanna do change that. Hanna goes to her session but does not contribute or open up as much as had been hoped. Hanna plays love doctor again when Lucas begs her to double date with Caleb to make his date with Danielle ("Yearbook Danielle") go more smoothly. A reluctant Hanna attends with Caleb, pretending to be interested in him. They begin to bond over their caring for Lucas but Hanna keeps him at arm's length. The two are pushed to act closer when Danielle fears Hanna still likes Lucas. Inspired by Lucas's admiration for her growth since Alison died, Hanna goes to talk to the therapist. In her session she finally tells "Alison" that she was her best friend but worst enemy. "Alison" reminds her that her low self-esteem will never go away and Hefty Hanna could return. Hanna still feels taunted by Alison even after her death.
Spencer remains the central girl in the Ian mystery this season. She is devestated when she finds out the ring is gone and gets a text from "A" that reads: "Just my luck, diamonds are a girl's best friend". She later confronts Wren who confesses that he is getting Melissa drugs for Ian. He was unaware of how dangerous Ian was towards Spencer and says he is only helping to make up for the past. Spencer later goes through Melissa's stuff and finds evidence of her helping Ian. Spencer and Wren begin working together. After a call from Wren, Spencer and the girls follow Melissa to find out where Ian. After hearing sobbing and screaming the girls race in to find Ian has apparently committed suicide and left a letter confessing to Alison's murder!!!
"A" is seen watching the girls outside of where they found Ian. We also suspect "A" trashed the therapist's office and wrote: Nosey Bitches Die!
We give this episode an A! Not as relatable of an episode but damn the drama was good!!!
