Lyle Donohoe made his first of many appearances as Tristan a new grade 9 student about to enter Degrassi. He is set to be one of the four new characters joining Degrassi when it returns with new episodes after the special episode airing in the fall. He is also said to be younger brother of the character Owen (Daniel Kelly).

Sounds as though he Tristan will be joining Maya (Olivia Scriven) and Tori (Alex Steele) who have been previously reported as new niners at Degrassi.

Degrassi will return with a new hour long episode this fall, no date yet on the next chapter of episodes that take place in the next school year.
